Program Goal

Help veterans move beyond the sidewalk and back to the outdoors.
Eligibility

• Veterans who use a wheelchair or mobility device
• Have a service-related injury, illness, or disability (e.g., amputation, spinal, neurological, or orthopedic conditions)
• Have a passion for the outdoors and a desire to regain access to activities

• Access to hiking trails and natural terrain
• Outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, campaign, and the beach
• Greater participation in family and community life
• Increased independence and quality of life
